If you are a wordpress fan you should download the latest beta release and see what you think. I am testing on my dev server and haven’t found any bugs yet. I have only had it for a couple of days though. The developers for wordpress are good about release really stable beta version. There are usually just minor bug fixes to deal with.
Hopefully I will have all my plugins tested on the new version before they mark it as stable and release it to everyone. I have been busy setting up vBulletin and trying to get it to be friends with wordpress. I have never developed anything for vB so I am still looking around to see how they store session data and user info so I can combine the two so I don’t have users for my blog and for the forums it will just be one set.
Anyways, I have read that version 2.3 has some cool new addition to tagging. I am going to look into it and see if I can come up with some good plugin ideas. Let me know how your testing of the new version goes and don’t forget to let the wordpress develpopers know if you find any bugs!
