This upcoming Tuesday May 27th, WordPress will be celebrating it’s fifth birthday! There are a number of nationwide parties being thrown in it’s honor, in San Fransisco and recently added an event in Sydney, Australia. As for the rest of us, we can all tip a glass to the vast achievement WordPress has lent to us fellow bloggers, website developers, and the face of online media all over the planet. WordPress has made it possible to achieve the biggest online media outlets, as well as remained user friendly to all of the newcomers that are continuing to change the face of the industry, the art, and the community.

I am continually impressed by the rapidly changing industry and advancing technology that is allowing writers, programmers, advertisers, and individuals worldwide have an open forum to explore and discuss their ideas, products, and further globalize and educate both veteran journalists as well as the casual surfer.
