Wow…I just looked outside again and after I shooed away all the mosquitoes that swarmed around me due to the rain (yay) I looked over at my side yard. It is under water. The water overflowed from my creek in the back yard and the ditches along the road both on the side of my property and the front of my property and now is my yard.
I could take a fishing pole and fish from my front porch. My neighbor down the road came down with his pickup truck and the wake was unbelievable. You have to remember that this is not a major storm, just normal thunderstorms that decided to stay here for two days. I hope by tomorrow it has gone down because my car is sitting in the middle and the water is probably ankle deep there.
