I am sick of having to fix mine and my family and friends computers after being invaded by a virus! From now on I am going to tell everyone to get a mac. I really think that mac is going in the right direction as far as operating systems. I do wish it was a bit easier to build your own mac, but I’m sure that will come in due time. There is nothing worse than having to start all over from scratch.
I will be installing my favorite flavor of linux “Suse” I have always like Suse linux. Then I will install virtual windows OS that can be truly backed up and reverted back to incase of a viral attack. I don’t expect your average user to do this. I would do away with windows completely if all the programs I use were available on linux.
I still haven’t upgraded to vista, Most likely I won’t. When windows stops upgrading XP I don’t know what I will do. Hopefully the driver situation will be worked out!
