Web 2.0 standards are changing the web. I think it is for the better! With site competing for traffic they are forced to improve their sites and keep up with the latest technologies and trends. I think that is a good thing. Like having two competing stores across the street from each other to keep prices low. You are going to see better and better websites in the future. It will be easier to find what you are looking for and to buy what you want. eCommerce used to be something that you had to have a webmaster and it was a big thing to see on the internet. Now anyone can have a store up a running on the web in just a couple of days. Competing site will be forced to give you the best price they can or they will fall victim to their competitors!

I know not everyone is as enthusiastic about the web as I am, but if you look at the web now compared to just a few years ago you have to be impressed with how far it has come so fast. The best part is that we are still looking for ways to make the web a better place. Search engines are working hard to organize the web and make it as friendly as possible.

I do think that webmasters are going a little crazy with ads on their sites, but I see that changing in the near future. Too many ads on a site makes it hard to find things and very distracting. I think once site realize that they will have more traffic by reducing their ads and making their site a little more friendly they will actually have better results with less ads.  You can’t blame them though. When I first got into advertising on my sits I would put ads all over the place. Now I just use a couple google ads here and there and maybe some related advertising. I try not to over do it though!
