What is important to website design? Mostly the browser makes the biggest difference and can be a nightmare for a web designer. In a perfect world you would design a site and get to look just how you want it and that would be that. Every visitor would see exactly what you saw, but that is not how it works. If you are serious about web design and plan to make some sites that will have a lot of traffic you should look into doing some browser detection and pull in different style sheets. Or you can use IE hacks “-, _” to assign different style definitions to Internet explorer. What ever your preference is.
Screen resolution for my sites are a majority for 1024×768. You could take a minute to view your sites in different resolutions if you want. I don’t!
