I found that you have to have something to offer at your site for people to come there and keep on coming back. For this site I offer free wordpress plugins that take me days to code and I give them away free. People come for the plugins and then come back to read my articles. If you don’t have a reason for people to go to your website then they won’t come. If you are a source of information that people need then people will go to your site when ever they need that info. If they can find it better some where else then they will.
Put a lot of time and effort into your articles. I think it is better to have one very well written article then 10 that are just there for content and keywords.
