In my opinion the Real Estate market is as low as it’s going to get. I think that once the government steps in to help out the mortgage companies around the US it will be much easier to buy a new home. I think the real estate market is going to go back up and then level out and all this commotion was just the markets way of adjusting to where it should be. I have decided to get my real estate license and I think if you were ever interested in real estate now would be a good time to get your feet wet.

August 24th, 2007 at 6:32 pm Hello Eric, I earned my license back in February and it has been very tough to make a living. I am and have been a full time agent since then, and will continue to be Lord willing. But I also believe that the market will come back. I'm just not sure that we need the government to bail us out. I think the market will take care of itself. And the lenders who lend with nothing down and the ones who have been dishonest in the past are the ones who are paying now. I believe that it will get better when people are putting 10-20% down (like most are now) and thats better for all anyway b/c the buyer has equity in the home right up front. Go get your license, it's a great business! I have fun every day doing this. And keep that positive attitude going - it will keep you afloat when others are falling by the wayside.
