June is right around the corner and now is the time to start planning those bridal showers for the brides. Everyone wants to have the best shower for their friends so you are thinking of ways to make it the best one ever.
Ideas? Where do you get your ideas from? You pour over magazines and go into stores to get ideas or themes. Will she like this or that and there are so many things to consider when planning it. How many people, should I have games, food, surprise or not surprise and the list goes on and on. This shower is to be a party, a celebration and a fun way to get rid of some of the wedding stress she is going through. Besides that you give the bride gifts that she can cherish forever.
I attended a wedding shower for my friend a few years back and she always loved “Gone with the Wind”, so her sister-in-law to be went with that theme. When you came in the door you had a table full of hats from that era to wear. We had to pick one and then stand in front of this huge floor mirror and pose for a picture. We also were instructed to wear long gowns from that era as well. Naturally we had to get there early enough to get everything done before the bride showed up. We had tea cups and little tea sandwiches and it was great. She still talks about it to this day.
Oh…I forgot to mention that the pictures we took were given to her later in a photo album that someone had given to her with Scarlet O’Hara on the front of it.
