Alex and Vicki had their daughters little beagle Scooby staying with them and needed to go out of town and I stayed there dog sitting. Scooby is a character that you just have to witness to believe.
Sweet Pea was very much on patrol while I was there. I am hers and she was not going to share me with anyone. Not even little Scooby. Every time Scooby tried to get on my lap or sit by me, Sweet Pea would go over and growl at her and nudge her or just stand there looking at me as if to say, what are you thinking!
The nights were the funniest though. Of course I had both dogs in bed with me all the time. Sweet Pea would always end up pushing me off the side of the bed while Scooby thought it was nice to crawl under the covers and sleep in the middle of the bed and scare the crap out of me.
Once we got a plan in place life was a bit easier. Still my nights were always a joke though. One morning I woke up with no covers on. Scooby had pulled them all off the bed.
Crazy dogs…but I love them.
