I was thinking the other day while I was watching my grandson playing his WII, what will he want to play in say…10 years? He is only 4 years old now and looks at his game with adoration that is scares me.
Back in my day, we were lucky if we were able to get a can and play kick the can. Then we were fortunate enough to have Atari. When I look at what is out there for kids of today I am amazed at how far the world of technology has come.
Years ago I remember driving somewhere and was having trouble with the directions and it was the middle of the night and I felt like I was in the middle of a huge cornfield with no way out. I said back then that I wished my car had a built in map that would tell me where I was. Now I smack my head because we all have GPS in our cars.
I just can’t help comparing the past with the future and wondering what I am going to say 10 to 15 years from now when I am comparing the past with the future!
