I have been studying actionscript for a while now and I love flash and what you can do with it. I have never had any use for Adobe’s air product to develop desktop applications using flash and flex. I have finally found a use for it so I have been watching some training videos on it. I am exited to dive in and start working, but I always try to learn as much as possible before I do so I don’t waste a lot of time in development.

Now would also be a good time to learn a little more about actionscript 3.0 I still use 2.0 a lot, but I think everyone does. I do like the direction that  adobe went with actionscript to make it more light weigh. Of course with that comes some more rules you have to follow. Like including the libraries you want to use instead of just having them all available to you. This is a must as actionscript gets more advanced and has more libraries to work with!
