If you are a Micrsoft XBOX Junkie or Sony Playstation fan, you might be dissappointed in the recent numbers put up this month as far as sales. Nintendo is dominating U.S. sales with their Wii, DS Lite (which I personally own and LOVE) and Gameboy systems. Nintendo has sold 58% of all hardware sales in the United States.
Consoles Sold in the US in March
Wii - 721,000DS - 698,000
PSP - 297,000360 - 262,000
PS3 - 257,000
Software Top Four
1. Super Smash Bros.: Brawl - 2,700,000
2. Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 - 752,300
3. Army of Two (for the 360) - 606,100
4. Wii Play - 409,800
While it has been a bad month for Sony and Microsoft they don’t seem to be worried. Additionally both companies have made promises to make upgrades and develop more games and technology for their gamers, but we have been hearing that one for a while. Sorry guys, you have a long way to catch up, nobody messes with Nintendo.
