It seems just like yesterday when school was out for the summer and now its back in session. Not that I have children in school, but I think of it in the traffic sense. I look forward to summer because there are less cars n the street.
The police are on the corners watching the kids coming to school so they drive with more care. Typically, it takes me longer to get to work during the school months. If only we could make drivers understand that when the buses stop, they must stop too. I watch all the time how drivers race around buses in order to hurry up and get to work before they are late! Accidents happen and at times a child is struck. How tragic. I think that all drivers should just use common sense but then again….I forget……some drivers just don’t have enough common sense PERIOD!
