Why people spam myspace to get their link all over the place is beyond me. Having links from a bunch a no pagerank havin myspace pages won’t help you in the least. You are better off writing down your anchor tag on a sticky, placing it on your forehead and walking circles around one of googles data centers.
Don’t try craigs list either, they just go away after a month or two. Focus on getting quality backlinks from related sites that are actively updating their website. Take me for example, I usually write on one of my sites every day and I check my email all the time. If someone were to write me an email from a quality site that talks about stickies on your forehead I would definitely throw them a back link. But if you have little to no content I won’t.
You won’t find any free pr5 6 or 7 links out there it’s just not how things work. You know if you had a site with pr7 and some dick snuff spammed their pr -infinity site you would have a field day on their momma.

June 21st, 2007 at 1:11 pm ACtually good point you make here. What I did with MYspace was actually get 2 myspace sites up and running and started posting a couple of BLOG articles to them. After getting page rank of 2 or 3 I added links to my sites. It helped a little. Not much but it's an additional 2 links. Helps for you Yahoo and MSN rankings more than Google though. Nice BLOG.
June 21st, 2007 at 5:03 pm Good Point. I will have to look through some myspace sites. I hadn't seen any that were over a PR1 that weren't sponsored sites.
