I have managed to get some pay per click video advertising during a beta test. Usually you are paying some pretty hefty CPM rates for video ads. I’m not sure how this is going to work out, but I think it will be good. The ad network is pretty much just doing it to see what happens and see if it is a viable solution for video advertising. The click through rates are pretty high on videos so I would imagine the cost per click is going to be up there a little bit. You never know until you start the campaign though. Some ads produce great click through rates and others just don’t. I haven’t studied banner behaviors or the psychology behind it very much, but I think that would be something worth spending some time on.
